My Sixth Cicero Award
This year, I received my sixth Cicero Award, courtesy of Vital Speeches of the Day. The category was Rhetoric and Communication, and the occasion was a speech I gave last year to the press and public affairs officers of British consulates around the country.
Only the British ambassador has a dedicated speechwriter. British consuls depend on press and public affairs officers to write their speeches. So the British embassy in Washington asked me to give a talk to these folks on the finer points
